## Company funding

**Cash & payments** opens approved company funding when available, keeping your existing source choice. Otherwise it opens the cash estimate. The commitment filter sits beside the cash and supplier tabs.

**Planned headroom** shows the lowest measured cash above your floor, its date and coverage. Opening cash and the floor sit beside a compact balance chart. A shortfall is cash below the floor. **Funding plan** opens saved funding versions for review. Selected cash actions show a loading status; if an action cannot open, select it again to retry.

**Payments** shows contractual obligations, draft reservations and unresolved orders from the same funding inputs as the chart. Review a row for its original currency, outstanding amount, paid amount and credits. **Open order** continues to the purchase order. A reservation records cash planned for a draft order; the order still needs its buying check.

**Needs attention** opens unresolved orders in a drawer. **Cash movements** expands dated cash in and out; select a movement for its exact amount, description and Funding plan action.

Previous and next controls page through the observed schedule. Selecting a commitment filters payment requirements while keeping company-wide cash context. Filters marked **This page** apply to that payment page. **Partial schedule** means source coverage is incomplete; observed counts are not complete company payment totals. Missing dates, amounts and funding evidence remain unavailable.

**Planned cash movements** shows declared inflows, facility draws and expenses such as payroll separately from purchase orders. Select a movement to review the funding plan. These are planning assumptions, not bank transactions. The table icon opens **Daily detail** for the dated cash ladder, including cash in, cash out, reservations and closing balances.

## Cash estimate

Choose **Cash estimate**, then **Starts**, and enter **Book opening cash · USD**. Sales, account orders, customer POs and supplier schedules supply expected cash movements. Recorded payments replace matching expected amounts; partial payments retain the unpaid remainder.

Double-click cash in or cash out to adjust a month. Choose a category or **Whole book**. Recorded payments cannot be reduced. Closing cash equals opening cash plus incoming cash less outgoing cash.

**Save estimate** retains the opening and adjustments by starting month, over twelve calendar months in USD. Finance editors can save; readers can inspect. Selecting a commitment narrows payment requirements without allocating it a separate cash balance.

The chart keeps gaps for missing evidence. **Review months** opens adjustments when forecast amounts are unknown. **Actions → Sales & orders** shows coverage and missing dates or amounts, with **Open order** actions. Sales dates estimate collection; they do not prove bank receipts.

Failed saves retain edits. **Refresh forecast** keeps adjustments against changed sources. Discard changes to load another saved version. An unconfirmed save retries the same request. Estimates need no funding approval and reserve no money.

## Annual plan cash impact

From Buy plan or a receipt-budget row in Open to buy, **Cash impact** follows the annual plan, category and channel. The chart compares monthly receipts with estimated supplier payments. The table retains planned sales, receipts and payments. Payments outside the year appear separately. This estimates supplier payments, not bank cash. **Company cash** returns to the company view.

## Merchandise cash

The merchandise view compares the coming buy with cash above the declared floor, using the organisation's 4-5-4 weeks. **Actions → Buy breakdown** separates planned and worked purchases, including amounts outside the window.

**Cash in** chooses shipped sales or committed orders where available. **Cash out** chooses placed orders or the worked buy where measured. Supplier terms move expected payment dates; missing terms remain missing.

**Balance after the buy** shows the lowest balance and weeks below the floor. **Weeks to review** highlights shortfalls. While slower forecast inputs are pending or failed, verdicts based on them are withheld. The table icon opens **Weekly detail**; **Show cash movements** adds its components.

Press a week to review movements in a drawer. **Open trading week** continues to the trading plan. **Review weeks** narrows the table to exceptions; **Show all** restores it.

**Supplier actions** groups the buy by supplier and timing. **Review** opens a group. Levers estimate relief without writing. **Trim it** or **Phase it** applies the proposed depth or delivery change to the named commitment. **Open the desk** continues there.

## Declarations and failures

**Actions → Declare** edits opening cash and the floor through [Finance declarations](../finance/declarations). Only admins can change these. A zero floor is valid. **Put back** restores the declaration.

Missing declarations offer **Declare**. Failed reads offer **Try again**. An unavailable approved plan clears its figures without substituting merchandise estimates. Missing evidence never becomes a zero balance. No action here executes a payment.
